We estimate the effort before the project starts, based on the assessment. If something additional comes up — say, an app without a migration path — we discuss it transparently before any effort is incurred. No surprises on the invoice.

FastShift is a strong accelerator for the core data move, but Atlassian designed it to cover Jira and Confluence data only — Marketplace apps, custom workflows, and phased migration approaches are explicitly out of scope, and Atlassian directs those needs to a Solution Partner.
