Sustainability is close to our hearts
We want to create a future worth living – for everyone. Sustainability is one of our core corporate values and it is something that our employees and management circles actively practice.

Because we love green prospects
We are convinced that sustainable actions make ecological, economic, and social sense. With this knowledge and commitment, we not only want to inspire and educate, but also go beyond legal requirements - for the environment, society and our network. We hope to serve as a role model for other technology companies.
Our Commitments to Sustainability
We are aware of our responsibility towards the environment, the climate, and society - especially as an IT service provider with increased energy requirements. That is why we are committed to sustainability on many levels and put our values into practice through concrete initiatives.

Okoprofit
We have been participating in the Ökoprofit (Ecoprofit) program for our environmental management since 2020.
In 2024/2025, we will be participating for the third time - for the second time in the Ökoprofit Club. With Ökoprofit, we record key figures on energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, and waste in order to continuously update them and systematically reduce our environmental impact. At the same time, we promote environmental awareness among our employees. Ökoprofit also supports the exchange of ideas with other companies so that we can benefit from shared experiences and best practices.

Ecovadis
In 2024, we elected to be assessed by Ecovadis.
With this assessment, we wanted to create more transparency, strengthen trust in our sustainability commitment, and show how our performance compares to other companies. Ecovadis examines topics such as the environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. We are among the top 35% of the companies assessed and have been awarded the bronze medal.

GRI
Sustainability report in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative.
Since 2022, we have been preparing our sustainability report in accordance with the GRI standard in order to provide clear and transparent information about our sustainability strategy and goals. In this report, we provide annual insights into the non-financial topics at Seibert, based on the three pillars of ESG - environment, social, and governance. We disclose our key figures out of intrinsic motivation.

Greenhouse Gas Protocol
GHG balance according to the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
Since 2021, we have been calculating our greenhouse gas emissions according to the GHG Protocol standard, including Scope 1, 2 and 3. This allows us to identify our emission sources and ensure better comparability of our data. The 2022 balance sheet forms the basis for our climate strategy and our net zero targets.
Our Green Initiatives
Rewarding sustainable choices
With our sustainability game, our employees turn small actions into big successes. Every climate-friendly decision is rewarded with virtual carrots - this is how we promote sustainable action together in a fun way.
Seibert Garden
Our Seibert field in Wiesbaden-Naurod is more than just a garden. Here we plant vegetables and flowers together and look after our bee colonies. In this way, we help to preserve local biodiversity.
Rhine River Clean Up
Every year, we get involved in Rhine Clean Up Day to clear the banks of the Rhine of garbage. Together with many other volunteers, we show that environmental protection starts right on our doorstep.
Sustainability Network and Partnerships
We are involved in networks for sustainability and climate protection in order to share valuable experience and knowledge. This exchange of ideas helps us to develop as a company. At the same time, we work closely with partners to continuously improve our sustainability performance.

CSR Regio.net
We have been part of CSR Regio.net Wiesbaden since 2022. Here, everything revolves around responsible corporate management - and we think intensively about how we can incorporate social aspects even more strongly into our work. It is particularly important to us to discuss current sustainability issues in the workplace.

LFCA
Since 2024, we have been part of Leaders for Climate Action, an international network of tech companies committed to climate protection. Here we share knowledge, experience, and best practices on climate protection and work together to reduce CO₂ emissions. We also take the opportunity to take part in recognized training courses on topics such as sustainability reports, strategies for greater sustainability and digital sustainability.

Code Gaia
We have been working with Code Gaia since 2022. This company supports us with its software for greenhouse gas accounting, dual materiality analysis, and legally compliant sustainability reporting.

ForTomorrow
ForTomorrow is a non-profit climate protection company through which we offset our CO₂ emissions in EU emissions trading. In this way, we reduce the available emission certificates for large emitters in Europe and at the same time promote the replanting of forests to bind greenhouse gases again.
