How does Confluence licensing work?

Confluence is licensed per user. Confluence Cloud is a monthly or annual subscription in Standard, Premium and Enterprise plans, for up to 250,000 users per site. Confluence Data Center is an annual, self-managed license that only existing customers can still buy, with expansions until March 30, 2028. It reaches end of life on March 28, 2029.

Is Confluence cheaper in a Collection?

It can be. Atlassian’s Teamwork Collection bundles Confluence, Jira, Loom and Rovo agents in one per-user subscription, and its Premium and Enterprise editions add Atlassian Guard Standard.
