Atlassian Service Collection – Learn more about Atlassian's comprehensive solution for internal and external service management

At Team ‘25, Atlassian just announced exciting news: Starting on October 7,2025, Atlassian is launching the Service Collection! It unites Jira Service Management, the brand-new Customer Service Management app, as well as Assets and Rovo in a unified, AI-powered package solution.

The Service Collection and the Included Solutions

The Service Collection brings together several familiar and new applications that will no longer be available for purchase separately:

  • Jira Service Management: The popular tool has long outgrown the ITSM area and has matured into a comprehensive Enterprise Service Management solution that connects Dev, IT, and Business teams.
  • Customer Service Management: This new app supports external customer support. It promises AI-powered features to create frictionless, pleasant user experiences on the customer side and strengthen feedback loops between support and business teams.
  • Assets: The flexible database for managing and visualizing assets and services offers integrated mapping of dependencies and service tracking.
  • Rovo: Rovo’s AI agents are designed to help service teams organize their processes more efficiently – from ticket triage to incident resolution to automatic documentation.

These products are now bundled together in a single SKU – the Service Collection. Jira Service Management and Assets will no longer be offered separately.

What Does This Change Mean for Existing Customers?

For companies currently using Jira Service Management and/or the Assets app, the new Service Collection bundle will create some changes.

Changes to Jira Service Management

  • Jira Service Management is no longer available to purchase as a standalone product.
  • New customers will now purchase the Service Collection directly and automatically receive Jira Service Management, Customer Service Management, Assets, and optionally Rovo agents.
  • Existing JSM customers will be migrated to the new Service Collection during 2026. They will receive the CSM app at no additional cost.

Changes to Assets

  • Asset management prices are reduced: The price per object in Premium and Enterprise tiers is reduced from $0.05 to $0.02 per object per month – with additional volume discounts.
  • Increased limits: In the Enterprise plan, the quota increases from 50,000 to 500,000 objects.
  • The Data Manager feature set is now generally available for Premium and Enterprise customers.

What Remains Unchanged?

  • The Service Collection edition structure remains the same as JSM’s tiers: Free, Standard, Premium, and Enterprise.
  • The pricing structure corresponds to that of Jira Service Management Cloud. The Customer Service Management app incurs no additional costs.
  • All Service Collection customers receive access to both Jira Service Management and Customer Service Management.

Why Is Atlassian Making These Changes?

In short: It’s about integration, AI, and collaboration. With the Service Collection, Atlassian aims to bring together existing and new service management feature sets in a single platform, and enrich the user experience with modern AI functions.

This is intended to create an integrated solution for both internal (Jira Service Management) and external (Customer Service Management) service management.

The integration of Rovo Agents helps companies identify and avoid internal and external problems as early as possible and quickly provide reliable, high-quality services when they do occur.
